How can I translate Rabbit?

PreviousWebRTC SettingsNextFAQ

Last updated 9 months ago

There are many ways to translate Rabbit. WordPress offers several plugins for translation. We recommend one of the simplest options, the plugin.

You must translate the plugin (Rabbit Hole) and the theme (White Rabbit) separately. Each has its own distinct translation files!

If there are items in the theme that you cannot translate or if you encounter issues while translating, and if there are missing translation elements, please contact us from Support.

How to Use Loco Translate:

  1. Install the Loco Translate Plugin:

    • Go to your WordPress dashboard.

    • Navigate to Plugins > Add New.

    • Search for Loco Translate and click Install Now. Once installed, activate the plugin.

  2. Translate Rabbit:

    • After activation, go to Loco Translate > Themes (or Plugins for the Rabbit Hole plugin) in the WordPress dashboard.

    • Select White Rabbit from the list of themes.

  • And next, click to the New Language button on the new page.

  • Choose your desired language or add a new one if it's not listed and click to Start Translating.

  • Start translating strings by clicking on the text you want to translate and providing the translation.

  1. Save Translations:

  • Once you’ve translated the necessary strings, make sure to click Save to apply your changes.
